The Castore floor lamp is part of the Castore collection, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Huub Ubbens in 2003 for the Italian company Artemide. The floor lamp is made of polycarbonate and blue glass and has a uniform design in which its parts blend together to create a stylish expression. The white glass of the lamp emits a diffused light which, together with the lamp's dimmer, can create a pleasant look in any room where it is placed. The glass gently flows into a long, slender body that ends in a wide base. The glass measures 35 cm in diameter.
The Castore series also includes two different pendant lights and a table lamp, and all the lamps in the series have a retro modern look that gives them an air of distinction in any room in which they are placed. The lamps from the same series can easily be combined to create interesting expressions. Light bulbs are not included.
