Alf Svensson 1923 - 1992

 Born in 1923 in Småland, Alf Svensson began his career in furniture design in the 1950s. Svensson's collaboration with DUX  

Domus Chair Steel is an armchair from the Swedish brand DUX, designed by Alf Svensson in 1955 for the H55 fair. This armchair is made of steel that has been painted black and can be chosen with fabric or leather upholstery. The armchair's seat cushion is made of cold foam and rests on a braid of tanned leather, providing both comfort and durability. Its ribbed back and lack of armrests contribute to its minimalist design. Thanks to the many upholstery options, the armchair can be adapted to different environments and interior styles.
