Willo Perron was born in 1974 in Montreal, Canada. He is a creative director and designer who has shaped cultural developments over the past two decades and invented what is now known as Artist Creative Direction.
In the early 2000s, Perron moved to California and founded Willo Perron and Associates. There he launched shows and world tours for Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake and Rihanna, among others. At the same time, he worked as Creative Director for fashion shows for Alexander Wang and Yeezy, and designed the Grammy-winning album cover for St. Vincent's album Masseduction.
In recent years, his studio, Perron-Roettinger, has explored almost every aspect of design. From exhibitions for Cartier to fashion shows for Chanel and retail spaces for Stussy and Skims. While he still devotes much of his time to live shows, including Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show 2023 and the groundbreaking Savage x Fenty show that earned him an Emmy nomination in 2022, he has now begun to focus specifically on interior design and custom furniture design.
