Inspired by Gerrit Rietveld's Zig Zag chair from the 1930s, Verner Panton designed the now-iconic Panton Chair dining chair, which has evolved into the next generation chair, System 1-2-3 Lounge. This covered lounge chair was designed in 1973, also by Verner Panton, upholstered in VOSS foam, covered in Kvadrat fabric with an aluminum base.System 1-2-3 Lounge comes from the System collection, which consists of dining chairs, lounge chairs, and a mirror and a clothes rack. The S-shaped lounge chair is available in a choice of fabrics by Kvadrat with a round or butterfly base. This designer furniture is well suited to the modern home and its classic shape means it will stand the test of time, in terms of both trends and quality.
