Roll & Hill
Roll & Hill was established by Jason Miller in New York City in 2010. The company works with custom production, allowing each product to be customized for each client, and it manufactures and sells exclusive designer lamps for both residential and commercial purposes. The brand seeks to be at the forefront of modern design and represents a US perspective on the international lighting market. Since its inception, Roll & Hill has created elegant products that challenge traditional design.
Through collaborations with designers and high-end manufacturing, Roll & Hill is able to offer innovative design for all applications. The company has worked extensively with names such as Lindsey Adelman, Philip Malouin and Bec Brittain.
Modern lighting design from Brooklyn, New York
Eclipse is a semi-spherical lamp named after a celestial phenomenon. When the lamp is placed on the wall, a circle of light is created. The further out you move the sconce, the more the light is amplified, reflecting the eclipse phenomenon. The Superordinate Antler collection, designed in 2003, challenges contemporary modernism with its stylish design featuring horn-like shapes inspired by nature. The Modo range was designed by Jason Miller himself. The chandelier consists of 10 clear glass spheres, geometrically arranged in different configurations with a black suspension. The range is inspired by stock items found in lighting stores and is made of milled aluminum. You will find most variants in this range at NO GA.
Roll & Hill works with a variety of materials such as brass, bronze, leather, wood, hand-knotted rope and mouth-blown glass. All products are assembled by hand at the headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, New York. The product line combines historic elements with modern design to create products that feel familiar, yet new. In the summer of 2016, Roll & Hill opened its first showroom in SoHo, New York. In more than 400 square feet and over three floors, it showcases its beautiful lamps alongside designer furnishings and details such as shades designed personally by Miller, shelving by Philippe Malouin, and Golran rugs.
