The practical Chess table was designed by Nissen Gehl for the Danish furniture manufacturer Naver. With a white silk matt Corian top, combined with thin, black lacquered steel or wood legs, Chess is an elegant dining table with a graphic, sculptural look. Chess has a pull-out leaf concealed underneath, which in turn is efficient and discreet to pull out. The Butterfly Extension technique makes it quick and easy to add a couple of additional seats around the table. When Chess is fully extended, it can accommodate 14 seats around the tableperfect for dinners, workshops, conferences, creativity and more. The Chess table comes in two sizes, 200 cm or 240 cm. The length of the tabletop is 100 cm. Around the top is beautiful detailing in the form of solid wood in oak, walnut or ash.
