Folded Shelves - Large is a simple and sophisticated shelf from Muuto that mounts on the wall. Johan van Hengel designed the Folded Shelves in 2016 and it is made by laser cutting a single piece of sheet metal, which is then bent to make a pocket available. The pocket can be used to hold and separate objects and the pocket also becomes a beautiful detail that creates a shadow play. Folded Shelves - Large is powder-coated with acrylic and is available in four earthy colors. Two shelf hooks are included, as well as screws for easy mounting.Van Hengel's background is in industrial design, which is evident in Folded's design approach to function, material selection and manufacturing techniques. This version of the Folded Shelves is the largest of three with a width of 96 centimeters and is suitable for organizing anything from paper to spices or decorative items and can be placed in many different settings such as offices, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms.
