Base Table is a larger rectangular table that ås shape was created in 2014 by Mika Tolvanen. Base Table is manufactured by the Danish brand Muuto and thanks to the different sizes of the table it is multifunctional and can be used as a conference table, dining table or work table. The table top is made of MDF, with a white or sanded laminate top and white plastic edges, or plywood with a white or sanded laminate top, oak veneer or black linoleum. The base is made from extruded aluminium and comes in black, beige or white lacquered finish in an extra-thick acrylic color.

Mika Tolvanen, who designed the table, aimed to create a wet table that was also robust and strong. The result was the Base Table, which has a welcoming and friendly expression. The plywood edged tops create a contrasting look to the table top. Base Table is also available as a high bar table and as a round table. All models are available in our range at Nordiska Galleriet.
