When Massproduction's chief designer, Chris Martin, designed the Dandy 4 Seater Sofa, he thought a lot about how we want to sit and move in a room. The answer to his thoughts was the Dandy series, which includes this sofa. The modern design of the collection encourages social interaction and new patterns of conversation. The name of the series is a reference to the concept of the dandy, which emerged in the 18th century and refers to middle-class men who wanted to show off their extravagance in terms of what they wore and how they behaved.
