Funiculi S - Table Lamp is a table lamp designed by Lluís Porqueras for Marset. The lamp was launched in 2013, but is based on a design by Porqueras from 1979. The modern and functional lamp is made of lacquered iron and has an aluminium shade. The shade can be rotated 360 degrees, making it possible to direct the light as needed and provide either direct or indirect light. Funiculi S - Table Lamp also has a lamp base wrapped in black rubber to prevent the hard light from damaging the surface.
The name Funiculi comes from the concept of a funicular, meaning something that moves up and down. All the lamps in the series are both adjustable and retractable, and in addition to table lamps, the Funiculi series also includes floor and wall lamps in a number of different designs.
