In 1978, the Italian Angelo Mangiarotti designed the Lari Lamp, which is still in production today through Karakter. This table lamp is characterized by its glass shade, which is mouth-blown in a single piece. The transparent screen rests on a black lacquered aluminum base. Lari Lamp is equipped with a textile cable and dimmer.
In addition to being a designer, Angelo Mangiarotti also worked as an architect, and with Lari Lamp, thoughts are brought to his buildings with their architectural elements. For Mangiarotti, it was important that each individual material should be respected and used in an appropriate and honest way, something Lari Lamp nicely demonstrates.
