The Apex Desk Clip Lamp is designed by the British designer John Tree for the brand HAY. Taking inspiration from the classic Banker's Light, the designer has combined archetypal references with his modern, colorful sensibility to create this clamp lamp. The folded steel shades create a silhouette with a pointed roof, which is the inspiration behind the lamp's name and forms a graphic contrast to the chrome-plated steel. The lamp has an adjustable mount that allows it to be attached to a variety of horizontal surfaces. Both the colorful screen and the angled arm can be rotated 360 degrees, which gives the possibility to direct the light in all directions. This clamp lamp is a functional lamp for a variety of rooms and fits perfectly both as a work lamp on a desk and a reading lamp above a sofa.
