Gunnar Cyrén has designed the Nobel Serving Fork for the Gense brand. The Nobel series was designed by Cyrén for the 90th anniversary of the Nobel Prize and has already become a classic. The Nobel Serving Fork was inspired by the early 19th century and the silverware of Charles XIV Johan. The elegant fork is made of stainless steel and has a lightly brushed finish on the handle and a high gloss polished head. It is still used at the annual Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm. The fork is machine washable.
The designer Gunnar Cyrén is one of Sweden's most experienced designers in metal and glass. As a glass artist, silversmith and industrial designer, he has had a major impact on Danish and Swedish glass art and silversmithing. He has also been widely awarded and is represented in museums worldwide.
