The Superellips dining table from Fritz Hansen, designed by Piet Hein and Bruno Mathsson, has a shape that takes its roots from Piet Hein's solution to a traffic problem at Sergels Torg in Stockholm – a superelliptical roundabout. Superellipse is available in a large selection of different sizes and variants and is manufactured with a top plate of Fenix nanolaminate, which gives an extremely matt surface that is easy to clean and resistant to heat and scratches.
