Founded in 1990 by Bobby Dekeyser, DEDON is a company that produces high-quality and eye-catching outdoor furniture. The story begins with a pioneering idea and vision to create outdoor furniture using an advanced synthetic fabric that would be weatherproof and aesthetically pleasing, which was revolutionary in the market at the time. The company has since paved the way for hand-woven outdoor furniture that combines modern technology with luxurious craftsmanship.

The love of sitting under an open sky and the desire to think differently lead Bobby to want to create a pleasant and vibrant outdoor environment. They want to create the feeling of an outdoor living room where the outdoor furniture gets the same kind of attention and comfort as the furniture you have in your home. DEDON is the first company to use this type of synthetic fabric and is the first global brand in the segment to set the standard for woven outdoor furniture since its inception. The range includes chairs, armchairs, lounge furniture, dining groups and sofa groups.

With over 30 years in the industry, DEDON has worked with some of the world's most prominent designers, from household names to emerging talents, to take outdoor furniture to the next level. Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, Philippe Starck and Jean-Marie Massaud are among the few who have designed furniture for the company. With a global presence, a team of 800 people worldwide, and representation in over 80 countries, DEDON continues to lead the way with innovations like DEDON EcoCycle Fiber.
