Ombra Tokyo Chair is the chair with a design language out of the ordinary, designed in 1954 by Charlotte Perriand and manufactured since 2009 by Cassina. A light, stackable chair that was designed with inspiration from the Japanese origami tradition. Ombra Tokyo is manufactured in bent birch plywood with a surface of black stained oak veneer. Thanks to Cassina's technology and respect for the material, the chair can still be created according to the original design from the 50s. The chair fits perfectly as a dining chair, but also separately, for example as part of the sofa group or desk chair.
