The 515 Plana Table coffee table from Cassina was designed in 1969 by Charlotte Perriand. The table was originally created for the Japanese Embassy in Paris. The designer was inspired when she saw a colossal stone whose enormous weight was undermined by the waves that eroded it underneath, creating a soft surface. The 515 Plana Table coffee table is made of solid wood, which can be selected in two different finishes: walnut and black oak. 515 Plana Table has a thick table top with concave edges that give the table a solid but soft look.
