14.1 is a pendant light from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2005. The lamp consists of two molded borosilicate glass halves welded together. The cylindrical void that runs through the two half-tubes houses the LED lightbulb of the lamp. The brightness is also adjustable.
The 14.1 is suspended by a flexible metal cable from a round brushed nickel ceiling and has an adjustable height of up to 300 cm. Each sphere measures approximately 10.2 cm in diameter and is made by hand, making each one unique in proportion, size, and shape.
14 is the first series launched by Bocci and consists of a collection of ceiling lamps with varying numbers of pendants and a surface-mounted lamp.
