Danish design brand 101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 with the aim of highlighting and celebrating high-quality craftsmanship and materials. Through a strong passion for materials and refined textures, organic shapes and colors, 101 Copenhagen has established a unique signature for both classic Scandinavian and international interior design. The brand offers timeless and modern furniture, lighting and accessories, inspired by Scandinavian design with influences from Japanese minimalist aesthetics. Lead designers Tommy Hyldahl and Kristian Sofus Hansen combine their unique experience from the fashion industry, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and inspiring trips to Japan. Their backgrounds and life experiences are reflected in the minimalist and sculptural collections, without compromising on form and function.
