Fenice is a table designed by Piero Bottoni in 1936 and produced by Zanotta. Fenice is the first modern table with a central leg, designed all of 20 years before similar tables started to appear in furniture catalogues. The table's surface is made of cement with an acrylic finish. The choice of cement was made to reproduce the physical expression of the original design.
On the occasion of the Milan Fair in 2016, Zanotta reconstructed the table and put it into production thanks to the availability of the original designs of the table preserved at the Polytechnic University of Milan by Archivio Bottoni.
