Gemma Sofa is a sofa designed by Daniel Libeskind for Moroso in 2016. Developed around the idea of contrasts and the perception of shapes, the Gemma collection became a collection of asymmetrical furniture combining Libeskind's complexity with Moroso's expertise. The multifaceted form of the sofa is reminiscent of a precious stone and the compositions typical of Italian tapestries from the 16th century. Libeskind has drawn inspiration from natural geological forms such as crystals, stones and natural rock formations.
