The pendant lamp in the Prop Light range was designed by Bertjan Pot for Moooi in 2013. The design is inspired by the lighting in classic dressing tables, but with a playful twist. Bertjan Pot is known for making a statement with his innovative designs and the Prop Light range is no exception. This lamp is made with specially designed LED optics that provide a warm and pleasant light. Prop Light is made of glass, HIPS and PMMA. The pendant lamp can be suspended in many different ways and has a dimmable light. In the same range and design by Moooi there are also a floor lamp and a wall lamp.
Prop Light is available in several different mountings, as well as with either 36 or 18 LED lamps, as well as with a choice of two color temperatures for the light, 2000 kelvin or 2700 kelvin. A higher value on the Kelvin scale means a warmer light. 2000 kelvin gives a more reddish glow while 2700 gives a warm white, yellowish glow. A standard light bulb will usually produce around 2700 kelvin.
