A1972 – Ceiling lamp is designed by the legendary designer Paavo Tynell, known as the man who enlightened Finland, and produced by GUBI. It is typical of the designer's style with his signature brass details. The lamp has an elegant conical shape and is made of bamboo. The bamboo slats are hand-sewn into a pleated rug and attached by hand to the wire frame, with a linen lining in between. This directs the light downwards and creates an elegant glow. The ceiling light is created with Tynell's ingenious counterweight system, which allows the lamp to be adjusted up and down.
