Model 2109 is a ceiling lamp designed by the Italian designer Gino Sarfatti. The model consists of 12, 16 or 24 light globes that are carefully held in place by an aluminum frame in black or champagne. The frame has a small cut that allows the light globes to be placed facing downwards or upwards, thereby creating a direct or indirect light. Model 2109/14/16 and Model 2109/14/24 have a diameter of 14cm, while the 16 globes in Model 2109/20/16 are larger and measure 20cm in diameter.
Model 2109 belongs to the Le Sfere collection which is the largest product series designed by Gino Sarfatti. The collection consists of different models that have been developed over time, from the first light globe 237 to the iconic ceiling chandelier with 24 light globes.
