Fauteuil Direction is an armchair designed by designer Jean Prouvé for Swiss brand Vitra. Designed in 1951, Fauteuil Direction is a spin-off of the elegant Fauteuil De Salon lounge chair in Vitra's range, which was designed by Prouvé just over ten years earlier. The chair is available in a range of colors in both fabric and leather. Prouvé is known for his geometric and structural design, which is well reflected in this armchair that was created to combine simple architectural forms with high comfort.
