Eames Plastic Chair DSR is a dining chair designed in 1950 by Charles Ray Eames. The plastic seat is mounted on the so-called Eiffel Tower base, a four-legged steel structure. Choose from several colors for the seat, and legs in chrome or black. This version is fully upholstered; the DSR is also available without upholstery.The Eames multifunctional Plastic Chairs were introduced for the first time in the Low Cost Furniture Design competition held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1950. Charles Ray presented organically designed plastic chair seats combined with different bases, giving these seats a variety of functions and purposes.
