Verner Panton designed the Fun 2DM pendant lamp in 1964 as part of Verpan's Fun range. The pendant lamp consists of mother-of-pearl shell discs held together by stainless steel rings. When the lamp is switched on, the discs contribute to a very pleasant and diffuse light emerging through the discs. When the lamp is in motion, it emits a melodic sound similar to a wind chime. The Fun 2DM is suitable for both multiple and individual use, depending on the setting and the size of the area.
