With vacuum bottles as inspiration, Tom Dixon designed Void year 2009 for the merchandiseis his own name. The body of the double-walled lamp is made from pure metal that is pressed and burned and comes in three different finishes. Choose between copper, brass or stainless steel. The exterior is heavily polished by hand and then treated with a clear lacquer to maintain the high reflection. Deep inside the pendant there is space for a small but powerful halogen lamp. Together, the light source and the lamp's glossy surface create a soft, directional light.
Void is perfect to hang over a dining table or coffee table, alone or in groups with each other in the same design or in color combinations. A smaller version of the pendant or additional lamp from the same collection is required, see Void Mini and Void Surface. Light bulbs are not included.
