The Match Coat Rack consists of a powder coated aluminium box with two rails for hangers and three hooks. To save space in depth, the hangers are hung horizontally on the rails. Jehs + Laub are described as creative all-rounders. Jehs + Laub is a design duo consisting of Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub. They met at Schwabisch Gmund University, where they studied industrial design. In 1990, the duo did their internship together in New York and became friends. Cultural influences are important to the duo, äalthough their designs are rooted in German thought äthey are shaped by experiences from other cultures such as the American and Italian. The duo wants to continue to evolve and they do so by being curious about other cultures. Throughout the years they have collaborated with several prominent international brands such as Cassina, Fritz Hansen and Thonet.
