Bordeaux Grand Cru Glass is perfect for full-bodied, complex red wines with high tannin content. This shape was one of the original "wine friendly" glasses designed by Claus J. Riedel in the ninth generation. The generous size of the glass allows the bouquet to develop fully and softens the sharp edges. It brings out the fruit, reduces the bitter qualities of the tannins and helps the wine achieve balance.
Each glass is handmade by master glassmakers, which gives each specimen a unique character. Small variations in size, weight and surface, as well as small bubbles and imperfections, are a natural part of the manufacturing process. The product is safe to wash in the machine.
