Cake low is an elegant outdoor lamp from Örsjö, designed by Sandin & Bülow. The lamp is available in two different designs, both of which develop a natural patina over time, giving it a unique character that changes over the years. Its low profile and sleek shape make it a subtle but distinctive detail in outdoor environments. The design of the Cake low is inspired by an earlier project by architects Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow. In 1988, they created the Minimalen lamp, which was then only produced in a limited edition. However, the original shape lived on and later became the basis for the Cake series, a collaboration between S+B Stockholm and Örsjö. The name Cake alludes to the shape of the lamp, which resembles an upside-down metal baking pan, giving it its characteristic appearance and functional design.
