Cake high, is a tall outdoor lamp from Örsjö, designed by Sandin & Bülow. The lamp is offered in two different designs, both with the property of developing a beautiful patina over time, giving it a distinctive character that changes year after year. With its unique design, Cake high draws inspiration from an earlier project by architects Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow. In 1988, they created a lamp called Minimalen, which was then produced in a limited edition. The shape has since remained an idea with the designers and later became the basis for the Cake series, which marks a collaboration between S+B Stockholm and Örsjö. The name comes from the shape of the lamp, which is reminiscent of an upside-down metal baking pan, giving it its characteristic appearance and function.
