Jet Shelf 160 cm is designed by designer Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. It is a shelf that arose from a designer's exploration of materials and production processes. Made of lightweight aluminium, the shelf has a generous and open design with a clear industrial feel, reminiscent of the lines of a jet plane's aerodynamic structure. The architectural design is the result of an exciting interaction between horizontal and vertical surfaces, which creates a stylish platform for both storage and exhibition of objects. The profile of the shelf has subtle grooves that give it a ribbed texture, which not only enhances its aesthetic expression but also makes it practical by reducing the risk of things slipping.
