The Lantern Globe table lamp is designed by the Anderssen Voll duo for the New Works of Denmark brand, and is an addition to the Lantern range. The collection, which first saw the light of day in 2015, was initially only available as a pendant in various sizes, but is now includes table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling lamps. Lantern Globe was launched in 2020 and is available in small and medium sizes. These can also be combined with the large floor lamp.
The New Works Lantern Globe is designed with inspiration from Chinese rice lamps, as evidenced by its milky white shade and light-colored pattern. The designers have chosen to combine this with a contrasting base in black powder-coated steel, which does not detract from the beautiful frosted opal glass shade.
