Losanges is a kilim rug with a unique shape designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Nanimarquina. The name means "rhombus" in Spanish, and the pattern consists of rhombuses. The ambition of the Bouroullec brothers has been to reinterpret the traditional Persian carpet using the old kilim technique into a modern interpretation. In addition to the Losanges being hand-crafted by skilled artisans in Northern Pakistan, the Afghan wool is also hand-spun, making each rug a unique item.
