Ambit Rail Lamp by Muuto of Denmark was designed by TAF Architects in 2015. Ambit Rail Lamp consists of three aluminum rails shaped using traditional firing techniques, where they are compressed, spun, polished and hand-painted. The lampshades are then mounted on a tube of cast extruded aluminum. Thanks to the three lampshades, the Ambit Rail Lamp emits a bright light that makes it ideal for use above a kitchen counter, kitchen island or in a public restaurant setting. The lamp is dimmable when used with a dimmable light source and an external dimmer.
When TAF Architects gave Ambit its shape, they worked carefully with the proportions to create dynamics between the lines and the rounded shape. The Ambit Rail Lamp has a timeless and interesting look that you will not get tired of looking at. Thanks to the spun material, it creates a nice contrast with the other furniture in the home.
