Sferico is a series of drinking glasses designed by Italian Joe Colombo year 1968. The series is produced today by Karakter and consists of six drinking glasses, including Sferico No. 3. The glasses are handcrafted from mouth-blown clear glass. This glass and the other glasses in the series are characterised by their geometric shapes stacked on top of each other. Joe Colombo strove to create democratic and functional design, and the Sferico series is a fine example. Sferico No. 3 can be used for a wide range of applications such as water, drinks, whisky, wine, beer, juice, champagne or even ice cream. Sferico No. 3 is dishwasher safe.

During his lifetime, Joe Colombo designed a wide variety of drinking glasses, none of which seemed to be near his heart as he loved to drink and smoke. Clearly, this contributed to his very early death. Karakter is proud to offer Sferico No. 3 and many other of his finest drinking glasses and hopes that with this collection Colombo would be happy to see his creations live on.
