Inspired by traditional Finnish stories that celebrate the bounty of the forest and cooking over an open fire, this pot combines sturdy cast iron with an innovative, removable wooden handle. This design had the honor of being depicted on a Finnish postage stamp in 1998, confirming its iconic status. The pot's cast iron material ensures uniform and efficient heat distribution, which is ideal for cooking both on the stove and in the oven. The enamelled surface is easy to maintain, does not absorb flavors and the uniquely designed wooden handle allows easy handling and serving directly at the table, as well as safe removal of the lid. Usable on all types of hobs, including induction, it can withstand freezing, use in the oven and requires hand washing.
