The sofa has a simple soft design with deliciously curved, sloping armrests that give the furniture an open and welcoming feel. About a Lounge AAL Sofa has a comfortable padding of molded foam, which means that the sofa provides a comfortable sitting experience but also a tight profile. The graceful piece of furniture has round legs made of solid wood and stands firmly against the floor with its beautiful angle. HAY offers the sofa in a variety of designs to choose from, both for the upholstery and the oak legs.
Danish Hee Welling is a recognized designer who founded her own studio in 2003 in Copenhagen. His designs are characterized by a sense of proportion and relaxed elegance. The focus is on the idea of creating technically implemented products that can reach a broad mass. The designer has won a number of design awards over the years and was also nominated for the Danish designer of the year in 2013 and 2014. On the prize shelf are, among other things, the Bo Bedre Award in Denmark and the Good Design Award in the USA.
The pictures are example pictures of different combinations. Pictures 1,4 and 5 are water-based black-stained oak. Pictures 6–8 are soaped oak. Pictures 9–11 are water-based matte varnished oak.
