The chair has a hand-woven paper cord seat and back with a sturdy wooden frame available in matte lacquered black-stained oak, oiled oak, or oiled American walnut. The C-Chair Dining Chair was designed as a reaction to the compact homes of post-war France and the design fits well in both living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens.
