The Allegory Desk was designed by the design duo GamFratesi for the Gebrüder Thonet Vienna (GTV) brand in 2015. GamFratesi are known for their timeless design where Danish and Italian design culture meet in a combination of modern and traditional. The Allegory Desk has a neat design with plenty of work space, which makes the desk ideal for home use. With its simple but elegant design, it fits into interiors in both modern and classic style.
The desk has a wide table top made of solid beech which is fitted with a woven screen made of rattan. The screen is a decorative and practical detail, where you can, for example, hang photographs or post it notes. The desk also has a practical drawer where you can store your glasses, pens, writing pad or anything else you want close at hand when you work.
