The Parquet Hexagon Rug is a result of the Swedish design duo Front for Gan Rugs. The duo have combined traditional patterns and geometries from floors and rugs with new shapes and color palettes, resulting in a collection of kilim rugs that give a modern three-dimensional feel. The carpets in the Parquet series - Tetragon, Rhomb and Hexagon - are made up of geometric figures with four to eight sides, breaking from the traditional rectangular carpet and creating irregular shapes. These handwoven wool rugs are reversible and their design and colors create the illusion of increased space in the room, while challenging the conventional with their modern expression. The hexagon rug's pattern consists of several lines in different blocks, this enhances the three-dimensional feeling.
