Rituals 3 Ceiling Lamp is made of hand-blown glass according to Venetian traditions. The designer couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, who are behind the design, were inspired by the classic oriental rice lamps when they came up with the shape of Rituals 3. The surface imitates the thin washi paper that the traditional lanterns are made of. The lamp has a round, but slightly irregular shape and gives off a diffused and soft glow thanks to the white, frosted glass. The series was developed on behalf of Foscarini in 2014. The Rituals series includes several models of ceiling lamps, pendant lamps, table lamps and also wall lamps, where Rituals 3 is one of the smaller variants.
