Luci dOro is a collection of lamps from Catellani Smith and comes here as a table lamp. Luci dOro is created by Enzo Catellani with inspiration from the warmth and scale of the sun and fire and was presented in 2000 in Tribeca, New York. The table lamp stands on a waxed wrought iron base with a flexible metal body, topped by a circular plate covered with shiny gold, silver, or copper leaves. The arm that holds the candle is directed towards the plate and the metal reflects the light. The design should recreate the light of the sun and the golden glow of fire that Catellani had in mind when he designed the collection.
