239 Fence-e-Nature Armchair is a lounge armchair created by Philippe Starck in 2020 for Italian Cassina. The armchair has backrests that can be chosen in exclusive hand-woven rope or in natural untreated willow wood, as well as a stainless steel frame that you can choose in the colors Mud or Ivory. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in fabric and offer an elevated level of comfort thanks to the polyester fiber foam filling. The backrest of the 239 Fence-e-Nature Armchair can be adjusted to two different positions using a manual mechanism inspired by Asian architecture. A solid teak support bar has been machined to look like a branch and is held in place by two wooden nails.

Designer Philippe Starck defines Fence-e-Nature as "a lifestyle collection of relaxed elegance and is seen here continuing with Cassina to revolutionize the concept of the classic armchair using high quality innovative materials that respect the environment. The collection also includes a 2- and 3-seater sofa and a side table in two heights. Weather covers are available to purchase separately.
