87.3 is a pendant lamp from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2017. The lamp has three pendants that are designed to hang in a random constellation, height is adjustable to a maximum of 300 cm. The pendant measures approximately 30–50 cm in height and 11.5–24 cm in width and is made by hand, which means that each copy is unique in proportion, size and shape. A malleable mass of glass is stretched and folded over itself several times before cooling down. Air trapped inside the glass gives the piece an optical quality similar to mother-of-pearl, and at one end of the loop is placed the light source that spreads a soft pleasant light. 87.3 is suspended by a braided metal cable from a brushed nickel ceiling bracket.
