84.26 is a pendant light from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2017. The lamp has 26 pendants that are suspended in a random configuration. Each pendant is approximately 12 cm in diameter and is made by hand, making each one unique in proportion, size, and shape. White glass is encased in a thin copper ring which is then dipped in a warm clear glass. By carefully blowing air into the mold, the white glass is forced through the net, creating a delicate pillow shape in the outer layer. The copper can sometimes be folded and creased, and the waviness of the outer glass can be recommended, it is part of the craftsmanship. 84.26 is easily mounted with a jack that plugs into the ceiling frame. The frame is made of white lacquered metal and can be made square, rectangular, or round. The cables come standard with a maximum length of 300 cm and are pre-adjusted during production, so they cannot be adjusted afterwards.
