Carrie is a lamp designed by Norm Architects for Danish Audo Copenhagen. This functional and versatile lamp is made of powder coated steel and opal glass. The lamp is dimmable in three steps and comes in five different colors. Carrie is a light and portable lamp, supplied with a USB charger. The lamp can be used as a bedside lamp, on a desk or as an alternative to candles on the dinner table. The lamp is made to be used outdoors and is perfect to take with you on a picnic in the park or on a walk on the beach.
As winters in Denmark are cold and windy, there has historically been a great need for light to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. This obsession has even got its own word in Denmark, called "hygge". Carrie is Norm Architects' homage to hygge but in a modern twist.
