Astep

Established in 2014 by Italian designer Alessandro Sarfatti, Astep combines a rich history of Italian design with the traditional Scandinavian sense for creating classic, elegant products.

Alessandro continues the journey of his grandfather Gino Sarfatti and father Riccardo Sarfatti, bringing further experience and knowledge combined with a future-oriented focus developed over three generations. This, combined with the latest developments in digital technology, creates a modern design experience with admiration for the lighting of the past.

A contemporary take on iconic objects

Astep creates new products for the home with objects that give digital technology a more meaningful place in our lives. By relaunching iconic objects designed by Gino and Riccardo, among others, but in a more modern version, Astep honors evolution and carries the story forward. As digital solutions become more prominent in our daily lives, Astep strives to combine the quality of life that new technologies offer, with respect for people, objects and the environment, which has always been at the heart of good design.

Astep consists of two collections. The Astep Collection takes lighting in new and innovative directions with passion and respect for tradition, while the Flos with Sarfatti capsule collection is a tribute to Gino Sarfatti and has been created in a recent collaboration between Astep and Flos.
