Altrove is a combined ceiling and wall lamp designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua for Artemide in 2008. The lamp is made of methacrylate and aluminum. Altrove is one square meter in size but despite its size can be mounted on both walls and ceilings. The lamp has a direct floating light that is reflected in transparent wires that create unique illusions, making the lamp an eye-catching detail of the room where it is placed. Altrove can be easily controlled with the accompanying remote control and the light can be dimmed if desired.
Altrove can easily be placed together with several of the same kind to create interesting constellations in larger rooms. Altrove is also available in a smaller version, Altrove 600, without remote control and RGB.
